I was wondering how long this lawsuit was going to take- I'm surprised they didn't come after him before this.

People are getting this twisted, Eminem isn't being sued.
He just needs to repeat what he said (cancelled due to exhausted) in a court room under oath to satisfy the judges. It's the insurance companies being sued for money.

I'm just surprised that the promoters took this long in pursuing it. They could go after him personally at some point if the insurance companies aren't forced to pay or if they don't pay as much as the promoter would like. Hopefully, a settlement will be worked out before he even has to testify.
