i think the read was very honest ...and if eminem read the article he would be #1 on the charts as soon as his album dropped

i think the article comments negatively on encore simply on record sales which many albums are judged on now a days......selling half compared to your last album is not a good result

first off i just wanna say that Eminem is by far the best rapper dead or alive (yea i'm including Pac and Bigg) and as far as i'm concerned the dude cant do no wrong! anyway back 2 the subject... clearly Encore was so far above the dude who wrote this articles head that he didn't even give it a second play.

Encore wasn't really for the general public altho he did try 2 include every1 with his "goofy, pop-culture-skewering first single" 'just loose it' (if thats what u wanna call it).

U c the Eminem Show was just that it was a show, the main attraction, it was 4 any1 and every1 no1 could say shit about it because it was what it was it was the best rapper putting on a show in his prime showing off all his skills and his talents 4 the whole world to c,

Now Encore, Encore was just that it was an encore for his "die-hard fans" for the people that stayed in their seats and waited till every1 else left.

Encore was Eminems goodbye album, he came he saw he conquered. man there was nothing else 4 him 2 do but say goodbye, "i killed superman i killed super man" (Rain Man)
he opened up more on Encore than he did on any other album all be it that he did it in his own way, i mean shit almost every song on that album had a double meaning if u just listen to the lyrics u will know what im talking about.

"Alright listen, I need you to focus
I need you to go dig deep in your mind, this is important
We are going to perform an experiment of a sort
I'm going to have to ask you to bare with me for a moment" - big weenie

then u got some stupid arse people talking shit about it, which is just gonna fuel his anger which will eventually spill over so in response to the question can he reclaim the spot light at 35? the answer is of course yes he will do it because at the end of the day he wouldent put out another album unless he thought he could, the dude still loves rap so expect something crazy!

You're so right. I don't think Encore was a bad album, but I haven't thought about it exactly that way before. And it helps me thinking about what great album he COULD and SHOULD drop now. Please Em, show the world you're the best rapper in time.

cheers mate its good 2 know that there are other people who liked encore aswell :)
dude if u think about it, looking at the albums droping at the moment if encore droped 2moro it would sell something crazy, there aint no albums this year that even made it on to my ipod, except young buck and i aint even sure that that came out this year (could of been last year).

Young Buck came this year, I believe he came in march, if I'm not mistaken...

This article is great. You can read aspiring words from Mr. Parker. He only shows that he understands "The Eminem Factor". I suport his idea on Eminem bringing aboard some new changes especially with his production. It wouldn't harm if he had some "rock" touch to his music. Eminem should co-operate with other great Producers like him. If he can only bring back more of the crazy SlimShady with a little of the sympathetic Marshal Mathers. D12 shouldn't disintegrate.

You've got a hell lot of point's that MR' Marshall will just step right up to this fucking politicians, but how is he gonna noe?
Let's all try not to depress our idol.
If you've heard of the song "Marshall Mathers" you'd propbaly know it too
he said " Is it becuz you love that you all expect so much of ,me?"
This signifies that we should be content with wat he is producing and be happy to have an only white rapper to idolize.
SO basically he can if he wants to. It's just the matter of time

these days ur fans claim to have ur back
sure they do,as long as u drop another track
knife to the back, diamonds in the ruff
isn't what you thought it'd be like to rap, clearing the mic of dust
this shit is injust
shit has has changed
it aint the same,
they want u to change ur style, might as well change ur name
all they do is complain
wantin' you to change ur aim
and they wonder why ur sick of the game
2 years and nothin
wantin u to fuck up somethin'
but u don't so they start 2 make assumptions

I think Encore wasn't that bad at all, to be honest
"Like Toy Soldiers", "Never Enough", "Mosh", "Encore", "One Shot Two Shot", "Spend Some Time", "Yellow Brick Road", "We As Americans", "Mockingbird" and even "My 1st Single" and "Rain Man" were all dope songs, IMO
Come on...

personally my favorite album was sslp. sadly i know he'll never be slim again :'( but if he can go back to the style he had in mmlp, or at least tes, that would be fuckin great!

i totally have faith in em that his new album will be awesome. i mean everyones buzzing about how great it is  i cant fuckin wait

he just needs to feel the need to rap again like he used to. i hope he has it. :sweating:
