I hope Em read this:
Lose yourself: As Eminem himself once said, "You better lose yourself in the music." "All I think Em needs to do is put everything behind him and just fall back in love with the music," Simpson says. "Erase the politics of things that might sour him to the game, and go back to the element of being Marshall Mathers, that same hungry MC from back in the day. He can always do it, because it was him that did it the first time. So I never think it's too late. If he stays true to himself and stays creative, he can't lose."

Happy bday.

hey every1 this is my first comment so go easy,

first off i just wanna say that Eminem is by far the best rapper dead or alive (yea i'm including Pac and Bigg) and as far as i'm concerned the dude cant do no wrong! anyway back 2 the subject... clearly Encore was so far above the dude who wrote this articles head that he didn't even give it a second play.

Encore wasn't really for the general public altho he did try 2 include every1 with his "goofy, pop-culture-skewering first single" 'just loose it' (if thats what u wanna call it).

U c the Eminem Show was just that it was a show, the main attraction, it was 4 any1 and every1 no1 could say shit about it because it was what it was it was the best rapper putting on a show in his prime showing off all his skills and his talents 4 the whole world to c,

Now Encore, Encore was just that it was an encore for his "die-hard fans" for the people that stayed in their seats and waited till every1 else left.

Encore was Eminems goodbye album, he came he saw he conquered. man there was nothing else 4 him 2 do but say goodbye, "i killed superman i killed super man" (Rain Man)
he opened up more on Encore than he did on any other album all be it that he did it in his own way, i mean shit almost every song on that album had a double meaning if u just listen to the lyrics u will know what im talking about.

"Alright listen, I need you to focus
I need you to go dig deep in your mind, this is important
We are going to perform an experiment of a sort
I'm going to have to ask you to bare with me for a moment" - big weenie

then u got some stupid arse people talking shit about it, which is just gonna fuel his anger which will eventually spill over so in response to the question can he reclaim the spot light at 35? the answer is of course yes he will do it because at the end of the day he wouldent put out another album unless he thought he could, the dude still loves rap so expect something crazy!

First off em needs to read this..its either he's tired of rapping, he's already achieved what he's wanted, or he does not want to be a part of the big scene anymore...

TRshady's one of the best websites, they're always updating things on em, maybe you should find a way for em to see this, maybe em needs to realize his fans are still crazy about him..

but we gotta take things into consideration...first off his best friend just died, well last year, and that crushed em...i definately doubt that em would have waited this long if it was not for that....proof was one of the best things that motivated him..without proof what it would be d10?? I mean cmon he lost his best friend and not only that d12 all lost a member of their teamm..proof was one of the funniest people with em..and to others...he definately influence eminem to rap the funny as shit that he did like in the eminem show and earlier....so from that hes been scarred and hes had to rehabilitate himself..i mean i know weve all seen the toy soldier video...but how eminem reacted in that video is how he probably did in real life but a million times worse..its sad proof was the ype man and a huge part of d12...Second eminem has his daughter and his bitch ass wife to deal with too.. hailie's like what thirteen or something now.... em has to be there for her now protecting her more often and mostly being there for her whenever she needs it...then you got fuckin faggots like kyle spratt callin him up...of course itd be tight to call eminem but i mean wtf of course hes not gonna talk to some random ass guy..people need to get their mind right sometimes..

There was this rumor about 3 months ago that em was comin out with a cd called king mathers..now first off your dumb if you didnt know that was a fan who posted a website called that..cause why the fuck would em name his comeback albumm "King Mathers"

I meann marshall to me is the funniest person in the world..if youve seen some of his old ass videos when he first got started like the london interview..i mean hes funny as fuck...give it time angermanagement was sick all of em....up in smoke was sickk he was just a little younger...people could say that he looked way more energetic in that tour than the 2005 angermanagement tour..but that could just be cause he was tired or something..if you recall he wasnt getting much sleep then too..but still he wasa funny as fuckk..and the concert was good as fuck...im guessin abouyt next year..it'll be a dr. dre eminem d12 50 cent obie trice huge ass comeback thell be back in tour im guessin...marshall use to say the sickest shit in his rhhymes people dont even talk about..
like iin shit can happenn...."Middle fingers flipped and censorship your friends just flipped over the swift penmanshipever since I spit some shit on InfiniteI been givin it a hundred and ten percentCuz when I'm bent most of my energy's spent on enemieseighty percent of what I invent HennesyTwentypercent is from being hungry as sinTen's because I love being under your skinYeah shit can happen, so stick to rappinQuit the yappin or I'ma lift the mack andThat can lead to another mishap happeninSkip the crap get the can of whoopass crackin........................that shit is one of the sickest verses ive heard, or theres shit like soldier..never een a thug just infatuated with gunss never was a gangsta till i graduated to one... or in the unreleased song called stimulate...and even in when im gone

i mean the way i see it, marshall is several people, or thats how he wants you to see it, angry/the way i am;crazy/kim;funny/low down and dirty(slim shady e.p) caring and loving/hailies song, mockingbird.
thats how he sells, THATS what everyone loves about him...hes a lyrical genius..i mean he didnt get a good education but look how smart he is!! people can look at em and view him as anything...but hes when hes doin album like encore...that was for the people...that was for himself..that was to market...the re-up for instance was to market...he already achieved all his goals after eminem show..he could do anythingg.

I mean if youve paid attention most of his new songs are about how things have happened..even if there unrelated like in a song like touchdown..i mean hes testing himself out right now..its just like a practice..when hes ready you'll know it
in no apologies he tells that he can't sleep, hes bellowed touch knees to elbow, "the press blow up this whole thing, im wounded"
see he says that cause its true..eminems best friend died so he got new tattoos..he's waiting till the focus is completely off...he showed face one day on trl the day before the re-up came out..telling about how the album was gonna be..at these points he wanted people to know that he was still working..on other artists..but marshall can still do the same thing...

lets face i mean musics getting bad man...theres barely nething like shit like soldja boy and all that shit are good club beats..but there really isnt anymore rapp music where people rap about there life and make it funny too..its been officially stated marshall would come back out with another album but when is the question..i say just wait...cause i know he wont let us down..he's too smart for thatt let him get his shit together though...july 17th 2007 baby, marshalls 35...will see whats next i remember reading last year the same shit..it's not a big deal i mean there will be more songs like forgot about dre...its hard to tell but marshalls to smart to not do that..

Happy birthday Marshall, ill be at your next concert can't wait for you man..

Great reading! :y:
I really hope the album will have at least 80% of just Eminem on the songs! And I really think he should do grown-up-sogs like Mockingbird and Toy Soldiers. He's great at that! :8)

First post, glad I finally got off my ass and signed up after over a year of lurking.

The article was fine, but it's hard to imagine that I've actually been listening to Em for 10+ years. He's gettin old, but so am I.

I think he'll bounce back for his next album, the Re-Up was a great improvement on Encore, hell, he had more good songs on the Re-Up than he did on Encore, and he only had like 4 songs of his own on the CD.

That being said, based on what I saw out of Fif on the Re-Up I figured Curtis would actually be half decent, not the garbage that turned out to be. So, there's a chance it'll suck, let's hope Eminem is smarter than 50 and has more love of the game than 50.

Lastly, the people sayin' Em will/should collaborate with Kanye? Yeah, I see that as a great chance of happening given that Kanye whipped Fif's ass in the charts. If Kanye produces for Em, expect Fif to be a little whore and say he wants out of Interscope.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMINEM + LIVE DVD // Oct 17, 2007
Eminem turned to 35 today. Happy Birthday. His new DVD "Live In New York City" will be released via Eagle Vision on November 12. It was recorded in 2005 at Madison Square Garden.

It was originally broadcast on Showtime but this is the first time it will be available on DVD. Songs in the set list include "Evil Deeds," "Mosh," "My Name Is," "Stan" and "Lose Yourself."

Eminem's forthcoming fifth album is in works. He has been hard at work lately. Dr. Dre and Eminem are in the studio right now, working on new tracks. www.aftermathmusic.com :smoking:

You're so right. I don't think Encore was a bad album, but I haven't thought about it exactly that way before. And it helps me thinking about what great album he COULD and SHOULD drop now. Please Em, show the world you're the best rapper in time.
I'ma be BALLIN UNCONTROLLABLY
