He and the rap superstar were apparently filming the promo film for "Smack That" at a derelict hotel in Los Angeles recently, with some Playboy models.

Akon claims there was a "dark" vibe surrounding the entire shoot, culminating in the grisly discovery. He explained: "Some weird stuff was happening that whole weekend.

"I think it was a haunted hotel or something. Man, that whole weekend was just dark, but the results were incredible. A dead body was found on the floor under us the next day.

"A real dead body. I was like, 'wow!' It was mad that we were right above that body just wiling out, just 'smackin', that's crazy!" he told MTV.

"Smack That" is expected to feature on Eminem's new mix-tape "The Re-Up", starring Akon, Nas, 50 Cent, D-12 and a host of new names.

"The Re-Up" is scheduled for release in December.

Lovely story...But...That Akon seems to do it with anybody, even some silly rapper from the Netherlands did a song with him. When I saw this (I really cannot tell if it is very old or just around) I actually was a bit dissapointed in Akon...

But who am I...
