Eminem recently signed an exclusive worldwide administration deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
The deal encompasses new songs to be written by Eminem and tracks on his greatest hits collection Curtain Call and the latest Shady Records offering, Eminem Presents: the Re-Up. The deal also includes songs he co-wrote on 50 Cent's The Massacre and Akon's hit single, "Smack that," which he was featured on.
Also as part of the agreement is a joint venture with Eminem's publishing company, Shady Music Publishing, allowing the Detroit bred rapper and his manager Paul Rosenberg to sign other writers and artists.
"Eminem is an icon for millions of music fans around the globe," said UMPG Chairman & CEO David Renzer via a statement. "His success as a writer and producer for both his own records as well as other artists continues to grow. We are honored that Eminem and his representatives have chosen Universal Music Publishing Group as their new home."
Other artists currently on UMPG's roster include 50 Cent, Ice Cube, Ludacris, Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige, among others.
