Need Help Unblocking My IP Address

To play Age Of Empires 2 multilayer with a friend. Tried a few things, it didn't work, so please let me know what's the problem.

did you put aoe2 as an exception in your firewall?

Yeah the IP address is blocked not the port.

okay change your ip adress ,, to anther one as a temporary , try this software hotspot shield

its our hardware firewall,dmz etc, nothing else, last year when the game blocked my IP and all connections to this game, i opened up all the ports on the modem and it worked, since we using different modems the configuration is different,so harder to figure it out.

yup but this will not work evertime , and even if it works , the problem will come back again , so it's better to change the ip or reset it or other satff that might help .
