How close are graphics to looking Perfect?

If the graphics of PS4 and X Box 1 keep on improving (not to ask a stupid question) how realistic will consoles be in the future? They look almost 99 percent real to me, I can barely tell the difference. BF4 and Ghosts look real. How much more can these graphics improve? And what happens once they look 100 percent real? Will they stop producing new consoles? My feeling is PS5 will look 100 percent real.

I've been thinking the same thing lately?!?!? I don't think they can get much better? ps5 is going to straight up be a giant box you step in and once you're in this box you are just in your game haha

Do graphics REALLY need to get better and better? Honestly I'm not turned on by it. Wanna know why? Games like Resident Evil 2 and Metal Gear Solid from PS1 have perfect graphics. No need to make it better and better. A game might have more realistic graphics, but they don't necessarily create a better atmosphere for me. Resident Evil 2 is the most classic, don't care what anyone says. No matter how good the new RE graphics are, RE2 is the best game.

PS1 and PS2 have perfectly fine graphics. More powerful doesn't mean better. PS1 ans 2 have great game play. They are the better all around systems. Doesn't anyone value the classics? There is no reason to improve the graphics. Overcooking is not good.

I think people gonna bash on graphics when they can tell by the look that it doesn't look like real life in 5-10 years.
Also I don't think graphics are perfect cause last of us is the game I've played with the best graphics, and there were 1 million glitches, bugs and invisible walls.

well the more real the graphics become, the more we will notice the imperfections
