I have an IMAX about 15 minutes from my house, but it's too expensive to be worth it.

Saw this yesterday, and I didn't like it very much tbh. (minor spoilers alert). I thought the movie was empty and dead in a way. What I loved about the first 2 movies, is that the characters were more involved with each other, they developed better, and there were actually more characters. Now I haven't read the comics, so I don't know why were some things missing, but Peter working as a photographer, having a friend, and a more explored relationship with the love interest, are things that I'd love to see. Peter was also kinda arrogant and as someone else pointed out, he wasn't that strong as the usual Spidey. Also, I think that Spiderman is a more kids friendly i.e. a more positive phenomenon so this serious/darker approach didn't fit the character that well. On the plus side, I have the same mobile phone as Peter in the movie, lol.

Actually Spiderman has been dark for awhile now, bro.
I think it suits him tbh. I like the more real approach to the series.

^I'm glad you liked it then, but me personally, I prefer the more positive atmosphere.

The reason why is so arrogant is to match the current taste of movie goers. They prefer such things. I was surprised when he just over reacted in the parking lot scene with the car thief and he takes out a knife. He acted as if he know what he's capable of already!

I get that. Give me some credit, lol. I was just saying, Spidey is no stranger to that sort of stuff.

i enjoyed this reboot of spiderman. Emma stone is fucking awesome and andrew garfield is a great actor.
Toby McGuire made peter parker look like such a pussy, i loved how it's more darker

i would've liked to see just peter as a photographer to reveal some character and felt the ending could've been written better. it was a very entertaining watch nonetheless

Andrew made PP look like a emotional guy who always gets senti whenever someone talks about his parents or his Uncle Ben. Crying and shit, that was really not necessary. It made him look like a pussy. Toby portrayed the character even better, he didn't cry and whine all the time. People like him(Andrew) because he gave PP a more casual and young look. While Toby was a little old for that role. That's the only difference, nothing else.

God damn! She's not that pretty in real life, at least not in all the pictures that I saw of her. But, in the movie. :flutter:

the movie was good 6/10. to early for a reboot imo. the movie did feel somewhat empty. i did enjoy it tho. really sony has the rights to spider-man? stan lee needs to step in and say spidey will be in avengers sequel. (avengers is the most epic superhero movie to date btw)
