ESPN 30 for 30

Postby PAINKILLƎR » Oct 24th, '12, 04:03

Has anybody seen the 30 for 30 films? They are amazing, and inspiring.

You should check the films out they are all great. I think there will be an encore of a new film today on ESPN so if you have the time you should check it out.

This is the latest film. This film documents the November 1984 death of Wilson, who was regarded as the best basketball player in the country, but was shot the day before his senior season of high school basketball. The film documents the cultural ripple effects of his life and death. It documents the contemporaneous impact of the death on those closest to Wilson, such as Anderson, and the long-run influence of his death on Chicago's youth.

Common and R. Kelly are in the film they actually knew Benji growing up adnd the played bball with them

Watch the first two minutes of BENJI NOW --- > http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8395102

It's tragic, yet inspiring. You should check it out, highly recommended :y:

I still have the Magic Johnson one on my DVR. Gotta watch that. I saw the one on the LA Radiers directed by Ice Cube. Also saw the one on OJ.
