Sam. wrote:Just returned after watching this. Watching this, you get a flashback of the Org Spiderman, just a exaggeration of certain scene's like when he discovers his powers. The 3D effects are mind blowing. And as the story progresses towards the climax, things get a taste of the unexpected. I never though that SM would reveal himself so early in the movie. The chemistry between the lead pair was corny as fuck, even though Emma Stone could have been given more exposure for her charming looks. They seemed to like each other without any proper circumstances leading to it.

One thing disappointed me was the fact that SM was portrayed way too weak, given the fact that he posses such extra ordinary strength, things seemed unconvincing as compared to the original. Hell, towards the end it's the Lizard who saves SM from falling down.

The movie was high on the emotion quotient, with people showing support to an bullet injured SM. Even PP was shown as an emotional dude, crying and walking away from situations.

Fight sequences were really awesome, especially when the Lizard discovers that SM is indeed Peter Parker and gets to his college to kill him.

Overall, I would say: I enjoyed it more than the other three SM movies. The fight sequences could have been longer or at least more competitive just to make it even more dope. I completely enjoyed the movie, would rate it 7/10.

I hope they make a sequel with either Carnage, Rhino or Mysterio as the villain, that would be dope.

FUCK YOU!!!!!!!1

at least put a fucking SPOILERS WARNING,this isnt IMDB.

I think they'll go the direction of the Video Game for the film and make him genetically modified to look more like a rhino. I'd also like to see Kraven soon. He's a realistic villain that could have a good storyline as a secondary villain.

Seeing the rage that Hulk managed to gather with Avengers, a similar one in SM is a possibility. With films being made in 3D, Rhino's ramming into stuff can make action sequences more impactful. Mysterio on the other hand is the best 3D type villain. It would work if the makers make it with proper thinking and intelligence. The effects generated for illusion should not only be just for the sake of it, but should be more realistic. So when you're watching it, you should actually feel things happening. That's the whole point of shooting films in 3D though. There's a lot of scope for special effect when it comes to Mysterio. Playing the SM2(game) made me a big fan of Mysterio. Imagine a scene where he turns the whole city into floating rubble and SM swing in 3rd person view, and with 3D, shit would hit the roof. I sound like a kid at this point but that's whatever.

Haha I know man, with 3D and IMAX becoming a staple in most films, Mysterio's illusions could be groundbreaking. Just imagining being transported into two different realms at once is incredibly promising. I think they could involve him in a Sinister Six plotline way down the line in the films. If the rights work out we could even see the Avengers join the fight along with the chance for an X-Men cross-over.

Sinister Six? Are you kidding? That would mean a longer movie(in duration). But for that to happen others need to be introduced 1st, then it's possible. Just imagine the time that it would take to get to that. Sinister Seven? Sinister Twelve? Fuck, that would take decades to put out. I'm dying to know what they do with the next part.

Haha yeah, it would take a whle. But I figure for a movie of that stature they could film them back to back and release them as two parts, similar to how Harry Potter structured its last two films. I think Raimi's SM4 and 5 were going to be filmed back to back before it was canned.

Just got my pre-ordered tickets for the midnight opening. So psyched.

Sam. wrote:But, Rhino seems more likely. Don't you think? I would love to see Carnage Next and Mysterio in the concluding part. Mysterio and his illusion's would be a classic.

Rhino won't be in The Amazing Spider-man 2, because Rhino was in The Amazing Spider-Man game. The game is set after the film.

^ It's released in 3D, IMAX and regular.

I don't dislike 3D. I prefer non-3D in most cases though. I've only seen Toy Story 3 in 3D in theaters. I was gonna do The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX but not all of my friends were convinced.

I think 3D's a waste of money in most cases. The only times I'll pay the extra money is if the movie is animated, because then it doesn't look quite so bad. The live-action movies I've been unfortunate enough to see in 3D looked awful.

From what I've heard, this is pretty much true. For live-action I believe IMAX theaters are the best. But they're sometimes tough to find.
