I'm kinda too sad to see the movie end, I wish there were future parts, I'm planning on reading the books one day, I didn't read them before cause I ain't letting no books ruin a movie!

You should of read the books first you ruined them now by watching the movies and the books> movies
haven't seen the new one yet but the way you talking about it I want to know

I have to say I was disappointed a bit. There were too many slow motion moments, some things happened out of the blue (like the Ron and Hermione kiss) which made 'em very awkward and the deaths of certain characters didn't receive a proper attention. Plus Voldemort's death sucked. He never found out why exactly the wand didn't work for him and that one part of his soul was in Harry. Plus the backfire of his magic should have been more obvious. It's still a decent movie though. Nice acting and the transition of the story went well. I just had bigger expectations.

it's pretty easy for statistics to hype up the movies as "the highest grossing film franchise of all time" when there's 8 of them :coffee:

I am a huge HP fan (books of course).

Still haven't seen part 2, but I stopped having expectations since the 5th movie, the worst of them all I believe.

I thought it was decent but there was no way the movie could capture the emotion of the book or be as powerful. The ending was nearly as in depth as the book and it was off in some parts so I guess that kind of ruined it.

damn, it's like everyone here read the books? The first thing I said to myself after the movie ended, that I will defiently get the books now, but I'm too lazy, so I'm gonna need a miracle to read them

Just say fuck it one day and start reading one. The hardest part about any book is actually opening it.

The potter books are good fun, you barely notice how long the books are once your into the story. I ended up reading the first 6 books in a single summer (7th book wasn't out yet)

With all that said, I have never liked the movies

I think the first book might make you lose interest, as it is intended as a child's book, but just keep reading and you will notice an amazing world :D

And read while being concentrated, you need to grab the details that will be useful later in the books
