I know alot about Silverberg but have not seen him play. Top guy in the Swedish Elite League in points, I think he got the most points last season and broke Alfie's record. Very talented and has skill but never played an NHL game, he will be playing on the top line with Spezza and Michalek if they click. So he is pretty much a gamble.

I heard good things about Huberdeau but dont think he will be on the top line so dont expect him to get you points.

Kreider definitely wont be on the top line in NY so i would scratch him.

^ Same with Tarasenko.

I would go with Silverberg just cuz he is on the top line with Spezza and he will feed him the puck.

Tarasenko and Granlund are going to be expected to play top minutes on their teams, and are arguably better prospects than Silverberg.

Granlund was just called the best prospects not in the NHL, and with Parise on MIN now too, he's going to rack up the points.

Granlund also tore up the SM-Liiga which is not easy @20.

Just realized, Tarasenko was scoring at a point per game clip in the KHL, which is probably the best league aside from the NHL especially with all the NHLers over there during the lockout.

I wonder how he feels about LU getting traded. If Schneider and LU challenged each other for the #1 job for the starter, Schneider would win.

Granlund and Tarasenko will be on the top six for sure, and powerplay. Their teams need them to be.

I like luongo, but I'm fine with him getting traded. We need a top six forward with Kesler injured, and now Booth is going to be out 4-6 weeks.

The pool I'm in is like a draft pool. There's multiple groups of 5 players each, and you have to assemble a team by picking 1 player from each group.

That was the rookie group lol.

I don't mind Nonis. He's been behind a lot of the deals that have happened in Burkie's tenure. I was definitely a fan of the deals with Anaheim and Calgary. Trash in both deals for decent pieces (especially Jake Gardiner <33333).

I'd be fine with Luongo...maybe.. if Vancouver retained some salary and didn't want a ton of stuff in return. We'd probably have the upper hand in a deal because of his awful contract.

Gillis said in an interview that he has absolutely no interest in retaining salary, and that there's been more interest than those three teams lately. I just can't think of anywhere else he'd go.

Nonis did some decent stuff in Vancouver, but he always tries to fill holes in the roster with shit players like Brad Isbister, Taylor Pyatt, Steve Bernier, etc.

CanadaPure - Ever seen the Sedins and Alfie play together? They did at the All star game last year in Ottawa, they play like magic together.

That was a real treat to see Alfie and the twins together tbh. So many smooth passing plays, unbelievable.

The best Swede of all time is Sundin though.

You can make a case for the Sedins, but Sundin never played with a Sundin twin.

He did play with the Sedins once though. When we signed him to that contract, but he mainly played with Kesler and Demitra (RIP).

Kassian better perform this year for the Canucks. I hated Hodgson and was a huge Kassian fan the year he played in the world juniors, but with Booth out... He needs to be good. He has to be.

I personally think Vancouver lost that trade, but time will tell for sure.

Leafs traded Lombardi to Phoenix for a conditional pick. I'm pumped. Opens up a spot for the kids.

Hodgson is going to be good, but like, 2nd line center good. He's got a case of Lindrositis where his Daddy dictates everything he does, it's rumored that his dad was mad about him only having 3rd line minutes in Vancouver, so they tried to pressure the coach. Then when that didn't work, his dad told him to demand a trade.

Bozak is a decent second line center, and would be an elite third line center. He had 47 points last season, and 32 the year before. He's constantly improving, and from what I've seen, he's very responsible in his own end.

I'd love to have him on Vancouver, especially with Kesler out. The only thing that hurts his trade value is that he's on the last year of his contract.
