08-09 to 10-11 were pretty rough years for the rangers even though we made the playoffs all of those years except 09-10. We had Gomez, Drury, Redden, 1 year wonder Prucha, Sean Avery twice, Higgins, and a bunch of other flops all in that time period. Lundqvist was the only reason our record wasn't that bad those years and then we'd just have a quick playoff exit
