Lebron just doesn't live up to the hype. He's a damn good player, but with how he's built, he should drop 60 a game. His mentality just isn't there. Kobe and Jordan simply worked harder. Lebron lacks the killer instinct, he's too focused on molding his game around what others think it should be. He could drive to the hoop on an iso every play and either score, get fouled, or get the hoop and the hard.

I agree completely and I also think a lot of his game is simply because of his size. And I'll admit he's become a better shooter but he's too worried, like you said, about molding his game to what others say about him. I also agree with him being able to drop 60 a game and he should drive all the time. He def lacks something that jordan and bryant have and might very well be that killer instinct.

Kobe back in 05-07 (during his 81 pts and 62 in three quarters years) stint, if he got the same type of calls he SHOULD have, he would've averaged 60 a game. Fuckin' dude was un-fucking-stoppable, he tore teams apart. He was an absolute beast. He carried a team starting Brian Cook, Smush Parker, Luke Walton and KWAMAYYYY Brown to the playoffs two years in a row and almost beat a deep Suns team by himself.

^ The fact that he didn't get MVP for any of those years still pisses me off. Talk about carrying a team? Yeah, that was Kobe. He dropped 4 straight 50+ point games, and based it all of jump shots. If he was as good now at driving through the lane back then we may have seen the 100 point game. Now he's more meticulous; he works harder to establish himself in the paint and back down.

^ Yup. The refs toned down fair calls for Kobe when he drove and when he did jumpshots (people had both hands on him when he'd spot up, hacked him when he drove, etc) so he wouldn't score 50+ a night. He's sickening how dominant he was and how the league tried to stop this insane force. Fuckin' Katelyn Faber... the league can't have a rapist as the best player. No sir...

PS - Fuck OKC. Fuck the Heat. Fuck the Finals this year.

Well, James had an amazing season. He really showed to people that talk crap about him who is the man. Incredible player. I wanted OKC to win, but Miami was just unstoppable. James deserved the ring.

Yeah, Miami played excellent in the finals, and Lebron was playing very smart. Completely deserved, and I'm glad that he finally won his first championship.
