Cant signatures be bigger?

I wanted to put a picture in my sigature but because it was over 150 pixels high i couldnt the picture wasnt that big, so i dont get why i cant use it! Couldnt the signature height limit be raised to, say, 300 pixels or something like that? loads of people have 2 or more pics anyway so it may as well be changed.

(if someones already done this thread, i only have anbout 1 minute before i gotta come off the computer so i dont have time to check..)

Sorry, but at the moment it is what it is. When everyone is allowed a larger signature, it puts a lot of unnecessary "weight" on the website, which ultimately causes slow loads, crashes, etc. Granted a few signatures wouldn't do this immediately, but the trend may spread.

Yeah you can have gif avatars & sigs, they have to be that size though or like Maybe said the site would slow down like shit. I had quite the hard time resizing my avatars when I first joined this site.
