Ok,I got windows XP...And when I am bootin up my system-When is Windows Xp logo shown-it takes 1 minute to start up my system!Does anybody knows which is a reason for that??
Many of my friends has Windows XP too,but for boot-up it takes 15-25 seconds.
Please HELP!!

it depends on how many programmes u have on startup
and how powerfull ur Pc is

I dont know about the programs,but my comp is not very powerful-1,9GHz and 256DDR

with that complication u can only dream of a 25second login


i got 2.4ghz and 512mb RAm still takes time to load



also dont forget to to defragmention of ur hard disk once in a while(speeds up hard drive read)

and also the startup speed depends on how big ur HD is (not significantly though)
