Good, Simple Beatmaking Program

Well I've tried out Cubase at my school and it is meant to be good but I'd like something maybe a bit simpler to make beats. I was told Fruity Loops was good. Can you recommend me any good free program? If you do, can you get it for me?

Fruity Loops IS good. Its not free, but theres a download link somewhere in the download section :y:

Well on that link just given, the rapidshare link is dead while the other one which is megaupload contains a trojan...

FL Studio might be the best for amateurs and professionals, It's simple and good, but make sure you learn to use it, many ppl have asked me when they've got FL Studio "So how can i make beats?" lmao, so learn the program upside down :8)
