Internet explorer has stopped working!!!!!!

i have acer laptop..its designed for windows xp..but windows vista capable....so i insalled windows vista...it was really good for like the last 4 months...but 2day when i opened the laptop... a windows pop out and say INTERNET EXPLORER HAS STOPPED WORKING". IT GIVES YOU 2 CHOICES 1 IS IT SAYS CLICK ONLINE FOR AN ONLINE SOLUTION AND THE ONE SAY RESTART THE PROGRAM. WHICH EVER ONE I CLICK IT KNOCKS ME OFF THE INTERNET.

and am not able to do anything like when this shit pop...cant click on folders or anything..its like the windows freezed...i have to click on restart program...

The same thing happened to me on my Acer laptop, but I only had Windows XP. I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox for the internet. If Netscape is on your computer then you can get if from there, or you can download it on another computer, copy it to a disk, then transfer it to yours.

Yeah use Firefox if theres no way to fix IE. There are many ways to make it look exactly/pretty damn similiar looking to IE.

hopefully this works for you, my guess is that one of your add-ons are probably corrupted
