it proberly only plays certain formats
i burn southpark eps on a cd n it plays on his ps2
i use plain old nero express

If ur using nero u can just choose to write a DVD not mpeg video, and it should convert it for u then write it .

Umm there should be an option to burn DVDs in nero
when u select it and drack the mpeg file in the list of files to be written, it should start converting the video( thats how it does for me ), and then its just about burning the DVD.



Note: converting make take some time.
