How to embed youtube videos on this forum?

It would be better if this forum automatically embedded the video for you.

So when you put the youtube link in your post, it automatically makes it a video. I've seen this on other forums

that makes the forum a lil slower

Not all video's have sharing enabled meaning that you can't embed them on external web pages

For those who are like me, and had a hard time understanding PK's explanation, I've made it much more clear.

Find the video you want on youtube, and on the right-hand side, find the "Embed" code.

Note: Some video's do not have an embed code.


You're going to copy the embed code, and paste it somewhere, you will not be using this full code - you're just dissecting it.

So, here's the one for the video in the link above:

Take out the URL in it. The bold text is what you're looking for. Copy what I have made bold, then feel free to delete the entire code.

Note: Both codes are the exact same. Doesn't matter which one you use.



Next, take the code you copied previously, and paste it. Then, put Flash tags around it. So it looks like so:

(I've added spaces in my Flash tags so that it doesn't actually register. You shouldn't have any.)

Next, click post.
For some reason or another, preview will not display properly.
