I want to buy a new laptop with the ranging price of eight hundred to fourteen hundred and I don't know what is good and what works the best. I am buying the laptop for graphic design (adobe etc.) along with for music production too and definitly downloading for programs mixtapes, movies, songs etc.
I need something that'll be pretty reliable for me and work well with my requirements.
Does anyone know what's good out there at the moment right now?

MacBook Pro - $1199
Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Soundbooth, etc.
Logic Pro - I'm pretty sure a lot of producers use Logic. I think Dre does. But if you aren't willing to pay for it, Garageband (comes with it) is a good alternative.

I have a HP Compaq 610, it's about $700, and I love it.
