What's the point of anything?

The Ipad is the tablet done right. It's the personal computer in a format that is much more personal than anything seen before. It's going to place Apple in a very powerful position if (when) it catches on.

Apparently there was a massive problem with the ones that only connect to internet when thers a wireless connection around - the connection was incredibly weak.

I dont see the point of getting one when you need a wi-fi when you can wait a month and get the 3G one. Seems silly.

The WePad looks better. USB ports & webcam are just two features better than the iPad.

Pretty pointless, especially for the price they're asking. It's basically an iTouch with a bigger screen. Hardware wise there's much better tablets out there but apple will win with software at least for now.
