WAP: It's Driving Me Crazy (Forgive My Mind)

I know it's been awhile since I posted something in CW. But I've been busy with University and my social life. However, I never stopped writing. This right here is quite an old song (5 weeks old) and it's part of the WAP (Wisdom And Poetry) series. This also the first WAP piece that is coated in the form of a song. Disclaimer; it's quite long, so be prepared.

I put myself high on a shelf, I dwell

It seems like I always go with the second, damn
Peek at my watch, no seconds, man
It’s been a minute, so I set ten demands
And question if I can truly be the man at the same time
It’s time to time my screw ups
And reset the counter before e’ry screw on my casket is screwed up
I loosen up, I counter the screw ups
And screw up the screw ups, I grew up
Never the type to ran, well.. I, accrued, up
I have to open to Danielle, we’re a crew, ‘cause
..me and her are two, I hope she sees it the same
I rather be on the bottom of the ocean than to be seen as a shame
Cease the shame, she’s the same as me

..going to far? I don’t know if she even likes me, man I
..can’t go that far, know I’m rambling
Forgive me, I’m demanding the emblem
That gives me my stars, moon full
I feel upside down, like a reflection in a spoon, dull
Yes, I feel dull, not full, though full with sadness
Is this rage, contempt or just plain madness?
Forgive me, I’m a con tempted to end this
All I can say is I’m sorry, and this..

..even if you’re not ready, I’m done covering up like a kufi
Zu, be phrasing it all and then trying to reword it
‘cause they say the higher the risk the higher the reward, shit
Yet I doubt if playing risk will be worth it, of course it’s..

More than any state of mind, mind this course
Am I mindless? No way of course
I’m out of my mind though, no way to course
Way to extort, thoughts that I export

I just want to disappear before I reappear
Before I state my peers and read clear
What’s on my mind’s pages, greed? I swear
..I’m humble, though I brag, so I put it in a track
I’m never low, so I won’t put it in the bag..

the first verse had clever wordplay, umm i dunno about the flow towards the end of the verse,it was more like i was tryin to find one,but i couldnt,lol
the second verse was my favourite, cause that shit sounded something lupe woulda done, the way you phrased shit, and the flow 2
the third was got better towards the end, ended on a very good note,lol
thats some good stuff man
