Fa-Q - You Are Now Here, Nowhere

Postby Fa-Q » Apr 14th, '10, 14:38

This was my first "Dream" type song because it was the first night I started having these dreams...then about a month later finally the mafuckers stopped. þhey gave me something good to write about so...enjoy :D

I took the latest train possible, is it morning or night,
Should I ask, of the sun, the first warning of light,
But I know its at least past midnight, to after hours,
I feel humor, yet for some reason my laughter cowers,
I kneel, even though He knows I can't afford to pray,
So I wrote them down, in my backpocket stored away,
Scribblin' on a creased napkin, and try to hold my neck,
Now I truly know, exhaustion is in more than full effect,
I slip off into a deep slumber, and first my dreams,
Burst the seems, of my blanket, I curse my screams,
I glance over at my reflection, seeing my beard hairs,
What, haven't shaved in a while so I get weird stares,
Plus I've written down, only one single paragraph,
Its funny, but, for some reason I don't care to laugh,
The train begins to slow down, then a screeching halt,
I haven't been taught what to do, is that teaching's fault,
The people rush the door, they crush the floor,
I feel plaque on my teeth, I should brush them more,
I've finally arrived, to the destination of no where,
Darkness shrouds the train station, as I grow scared,

Here I am, fears a sham, in the ghost town of no where,
I show scared, but I don't dare ever feel it,
I must escape at all costs, before fall frosts,
From the train to no where, because now I'm here,

Run down the buildings, equal nothing but street corners,
The rich roam the streets, and at their feet mourners,
Cold but what heats nights, is the green street lights,
Groups of citizens, and the intersection greets fights,
I need to cross the street, the clocks ticking,
But horses approach, for I hear the rocks clicking,
I see dead dandy lions, daffodills, and lilacs,
All I see in the streets, depressed, dry cracks,
Whores search for a partner, in their past flattered,
They stay closest, to the building with glass shattered,
I see flames in a building, but where's the fire department,
I hear the cries dire, but they don't even try her apartment,
Now my past slows, as each blade of grass grows,
Even through all the darkness, the sun at last glows,
I glance over, at the post office, where the car sit,
I've been told it has the most softest, cared for car-pet,

Here I am, fears a sham, in the ghost town of no where,
I show scared, but I don't dare ever feel it,
I must escape at all costs, before fall frosts,
From the train to no where, because now I'm here,

The sewege smell, I'm assuming grew this hell,
I see a church abandoned, darkened shadows,
I see hanging knives, and sharpened gallows,
And quickly in a nutshell, I just learned what's hell,
A city so desolate, I know I just have to escape,
Now I know Genesis one, one, a world with less shape,
I decide to stay the night, in a hotel, and pray for light,
I've been told, to stay in the Hotel, its customery,
But with eyes sewed shut, then it must be scary,
The haunted streets, make even the ghost shiver,
I know I'll stay strong through it all, but most quiver,
At the sight of this run down town, the sun's down now,
When new day dawns, when the sun peeking through clouds,
Another performance, and tall are seeking new bows,
So I'll give you some, on the train to nowhere,
Never returning to no where, for I can not grow scared,

Here I am, fears a sham, in the ghost town of no where,
I show scared, but I don't dare ever feel it,
I must escape at all costs, before fall frosts,
From the train to no where, because now I'm here,
