I HATE POP MUSIC

just had to start off by saying that, but honestly i find that i'm sort of really good at writing it,

My friend in Iowa is texting me about a song she is writing about a guy she likes, and she sent me this

"I wish i had you in my arms right now"

and i turned it into this

"i wish i had you in my arms tonight
to sing me to sleep and hold me tight
never let me go- it feels so right"

and then she sent me this

with you here by my side i love you so dear i wanna be with you forever starting tonight"

that line was laughable, but it gave me ideas still

"with you by my side i can see so clear
I can finnally be myself cuz around you i have no fear
and i dream of your love like my eye's are shut
wishin i could hear your voice, and feel your touch"


Again, i hate pop music, NEVER will i put my voice to a pop song EVER, but then she texted me some jibberish lyrics that are so mixed it had me wanting to just write the entire song for her to sing lol, but i wrote this

"breathing soft with easing thoughts reaching for stars
my only wish to be wherever you are
cuz with you i could never go wrong
I feel so weak, but somehow still so strong"

thats what i left it at cuz i really despise pop music, but being that i don't sleep cuz i'm always writing something, either new lyrics or part of my movie script or story, i decided to jump in to try to help her, honestly i beleive the shit is to easy, i could write pop music LMAO

idk y i posted this, guess it was just a tired thought but fuck it, i go crazy cuz i seriously can't sleep, cuz i find my selkf jumping out of bed to write something when i do try to sleep lol

lol, i'v been writin rap for almost 11 years, i can't stand pop music, with the exeption of a FEW Mariah Carey tracks, obsession was my shit, but this girl wants to write pop music and i want her to follow her dreams, i wanna see everybody do what they dream to do, even tho i hate lady gaga and beleive she is trash i respect her for doing what she loves, even tho justin beiber is a bitch i respect him for goin for his dream,

People think writing rap lyrics are a walk in the park. It's way harder than writing bullshit pop.

The Beatles are praised for their simple pop lyrics. Bah. Their melodies are awesome and their music "sounds" good, but don't go praising the lyrics. The lyrics are fucking easy to do.
