Hmm, interesting plot there. Menzo the base, while Geno the icing of the cake here. Nice little story, a bit of stretch though. By "stretch" I mean, the story you guys said if imagined out of this verses is very short. To say in other words, If I were to do this alone, without seeing this as a reference, I would have curtailed it to a verse. That's not a negative thing, though. Don't interpret this as something in that way. The only thing that actually makes this story so big is the fact, that you guys displayed some amazing detailing to it, hence elongating it to so many bars. That's really dope, show's the imagination that you guys have. I find Geno's part more attractive, seems smooth, well executed. Menzo's verse seemed a little raw, little problem with the execution. But, Menzo, the last back-back part was fine, but your verse didn't amaze me, in compared to Geno, that is. Cohesiveness is something that I was looking forward. Which, you guys have delivered many times. Menzo, you have matched Geno's ability of perfect execution many time, this is little less than that standard. I still love it because you didn't deviate from the topic and maintained your part properly. I don't expect both of you to sound alike, but, since both of you're same, so... J/K. Keep going, guys.

This was dope as fuck, as usual, & totally unoriginal, I liked the topic because it built the anticipation for Menzo to come in finally for the 3rd verse, I liked the skits, & the flow here was great, it fit the dark, sad, piano laced beat. Great job guys, looking forward to reading more of our shit, including our collab. Btw, Shadowville= fuckin dope as fuck too, always loved their shit :y:.

Hahaha, just saw that. As usual.

Anyways, good piece fellas. I enjoy where you took the story, it's one of the better pieces I've seen from you guys in terms of painting a picture. As a standalone it's good, as part of the past pieces it's good. I personally preferred this to Crossing Paths, I thought the tie in at the end of that piece was well set up. Just felt kinda....eh, I dunno haha. Not my cup of tea, I guess. But I like the way this piece took it. Good drop fellas.

I think this is probably one of Ego's bests so far. I really enjoyed the concept, because you guys illustrated it so well, from the intro, to the solo verses (And you guys painted the picture very well, I could imagine it unfolding right in front of me!), the interludes and then the final verse and hook. It worked very well, it didn't feel like a song to me, more like a lyrical performance that I envisioned lol. The beat helped, really gave the entire piece a classic feel. Also, I loved how Menzo's Interlude was at 2:26, it really helped paint the picture further, it added to feel of it being an actual scene. So awesome on that. :y: Lyrically-wise, you guys were pretty strong on this. Lots of rhyming, and the word choice makes it even better. Favorite line from this though I'd have to say would be:

Back together now, we aim higher as keen villans,
Back together now, we'll treat tyrants like mere children.

I thought that was beyond dope. Bad Meets Evil had popped in my head at that moment. You guys killed it, did the beat justice and I'm glad I got to read this. Keep up the good work! :y:

Hhhhhhhhholing it down in CW, I see. Awesome pictures being painted in this piece. Geno, a lot of your rhyme scheme looks eerily familiar, lol.

The way you guys stuck to the topic was great. There really wasn't any deviation from the path. Nothing forced, nothing out of place. Really nice stuff from both of you.

Totally UNoriginal. :8)

But yeah, this was, as usual, pretty sick. Loved the rhymes and images you guys painted for us.

The skit was pretty cool too. Nothing else to say. :y:
