I wrote this on 31/12/2013, was just a moment of thought and reflection so I got some of it down. Lyrics, quotes and word knowledge as I've matured mixed with my thoughts at that time. It's nothing more again than writing my thoughts down.
Take a moment to reflect.
Look at yourself.
Look at those around you.
You are human.
You are beautiful.
You can be anything.
You can be everything.
Life is what you make it.
Don’t compare your life to others and don’t judge them.
You have no idea what their journey is about.
Do not hate because someone broke your trust or betrayed you.
Cry when you need to, then let go when it’s time.
Do not concern yourself with things that you cannot control.
Learn from death.
Grieve.
Reflect.
Gain strength.
Move forward.
Make peace with your past; don’t let it ruin your future.
Forget things that aren’t worth remembering.
Learn from your mistakes.
Take responsibility for your actions.
Stop taking things or people for granted.
Make someone’s day.
Treat others how you want to be treated.
Make time for family and friends.
Accept people will come and go from your life.
Live for something.
Live for someone.
Live selflessly.
If you don’t live for something, you’ll die for nothing.
Learn to love, not hate.
Life is too short to hate.
Question things, life and people.
Tell people how you really feel.
Create.
Imagine.
Inspire.
Educate.
Share something wonderful.
Care and help those less fortunate than yourself.
Make something beautiful.
Meet new people, go new places.
Explore you and what’s around you.
Achieve.
Succeed.
Fail.
Learn.
Stop thinking too much; it’s okay not to have all the answers.
They will come to you when you least expect it.
Let go of all the horrible things in your life.
Be happy in your own skin.
What other people think of you is none of your business.
People fear what they don't understand and hate what they can't conquer.
Let go of your troubles.
Time heals almost everything, give it time.
Live.
Love.
Care.
Share.
Laugh.
Be happy.
Be someone's role model.
Be a better person.
Then one day when you’re old (if you make it that far) look back with no regrets.
What if one day, you wake up as somebody else and then realise it was all a dream?
What if we are the imagination of ourselves?
What would you do differently?
