My thirst worsens every drop I drink, for the power I crave
Cannot be received, time restricts with the hours in days,
I shower and bathe in gold, control ways of the weak
These cowards, my slaves, continue to pray at my feet.
I raise my hand and have you on the floor to your knees
A sort of disease, the evil, a moralless creed.
As their feet blister and bleed I sip from my tea
In an instant I see, that my life still isnt complete.
A whole in my heart must be filled with companionship
And when this thought arose, man damn it hits,
I raise, gaze at the maiden as she paced the haven
Im dazed as she waves with that face amazing,
My days are changing, this moment I take, embrace it
Til sorrow regains, a ring on the same hand she waved with.
I could not forget her presence, as I lined up my army
No women or her husband should be able to harm me,
My men deplete in search for the man amongst the town
When they catch sight, they fire and gun him down.
So I summon her now, ask her to accept my hand
The treasures grand, to my delight she says yes as planned.
But she received word of my crimes, took a stake to heart
The skies gray and dark, as I was the cause they did part.
All my wealth, statues, golden treasures and home
Amount to nothing, as im destined to be forever alone.
