Prominent Writers (poetry)

Postby neversnooze » Jul 5th, '10, 22:38

wrote this like a year ago. in this piece, i got alot of criticism. When i wrote this , i felt like every poetry that was being written, was the same topic/ same description. the criticism also taught me that writing expresses how a person feels or person thinks. well its not as good as my last piece, but enjoy! :)

The creative minds back when primitive times
Wrote about broken hearts in Vinca symbols
Modern poetry form from human kind used
Past era written antiques flourished by its uses

Be innovative about a category like passion
Similar and different like watching soccer and rugby
Diverse players all around examine there motives
A referee cant distinguish everyone’s activity
Perceive with your vision before you catch the action

Its respectable to embrace love for a counterparts fondness
Its despicable when all who behold auditory to listen
To read the same repetitive metaphorical remarks
Our past time prominent writers would rotate in disgust
Sometimes I stay up so late that I have my morning coffee before I go to bed

Word.

@neversnooze: I think how you apply your vocabulary is good. This poem is good especially in the last two lines of the first two stanzas. It's very smart and creative plus it's a poem, which flow does not come into play so it's perfect man. Second stanza is the easiest to understand. Overall, nice. :y:
