Rebecca's Dream (Nightmare tales..)

Just finished this story, I consider this a draft version. So any constructive feedback will be much appreciated.


He felt fatigued, relieved, though, his heart beats for the streets
Until his feet hit the streets vertically and his heart’s beat for the streets
Stopped, period, full stop, he got hard beat for the streets
The streets, he met defeat, helmet was his head so now he meets
The creator ‘cause he created hell, hell he dragged the streets
Into it, it wasn’t about it when he begged for peace
Backed the beef his home boy invented, to back the police
Little did he know that he got framed and encircled like quiche

Let’s take it back to the Veet commercial on Friday 9 o’clock
About to greet his wife, so he was about to hide the nine and glock
He kissed Rebecca, she was French so he said: ‘je suis avec a
Ami’, ‘ah, oui’ she responded when his mate was about to enter
The room, his shirt said 'ya can't stop the kid with a coat hanger'
'I can', is what Rebecca was thinking, flashback to the doomed hangar
Where Rebecca’s sister Sarah underwent a haggler’s abortion
‘No, no, no, ca fait mal’ is what echoed in the hangar according
To her memories, flash forward like a VCR fast forwarded
Yes, that old fashioned, fashionably she saw the door forced at
7 PM, Rebecca could see the nameplate in a fantasy dent
It was her very own last name, she read: ‘the family Sment’
That’s right, her name was Rebecca Sment, her mom once said:
‘Rebecca means Captivating’ She was meant to be captivating
Though luck kept her waiting and hope kept her craving
For a normal life, she was depressed since her sister got raped
Her heart isn’t just bruised, it got blisters and tape
So it won’t fall in a million pieces, their lives were destined
And ironically Sarah Sment is an anagram for the term harassment
Is that an explanation for what happened? ‘Cheri?’

Is what woke her up again.. ‘C’est la vie’ is what she got to see
The life of a broken family shrouded in a sinister reality
The shady listener who was present as the visitor in reality
Was a NOC, so he knocked Rebecca out and pulled a gun
Her husband reacted immediately and consulted a gun
As he ran out the door, the undercover aimed for the sun
Son, it was a summer day, so the sun was just setting
The bullet went straight ahead, while it was settling
Itself in the man’s chest with accuracy, Rebecca’s water broke
Oh, did I forget to tell you that Nasir was ‘bout to get a daughter? Nope..
Nasir didn’t know, yes, sir, life takes and gives, pain and bliss
For the moment the only sounds in the air were rain and hiss
Blood got washed away while the shells were sizzling on the streets
A dream can turn into a nightmare when dipping it in the streets..
