Female rapper Foxy Brown may be heading to trial in the assault case levied against her by two Manhattan nail salon workers.
The rapper, born Inga Marchand, was originally scheduled to appear in court today (April 28th). However a Manhattan State Supreme Court judge has postponed that appearance until May 26, which will serve as a conference date to schedule a trial.
Foxy is charged with assaulting two employees of Manhattan's Bloomie Nails in Chelsea in an August 2004 fight over payment for a manicure.
Initially charged with misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment, Foxy has already turned down two misdemeanor plea deals that would have allowed her to avoid jail time.
