Jay-Z's Black Book stays closed. Rapper/record exec Jay-Z, a man known for his cool, calm demeanor, seems nervous about the upcoming release of his memoir, The Black Book. After spending two years working with renowned Hip-Hop journalist dream hampton, Jigga does not feel comfortable displaying his life to the public. "I know that people really want to know about me," he said as reported in NY's Daily News, "and I thought I was ok with it, but as it got closer and closer, I said, 'What am I doing?'" According to the big apple newspaper, hampton is surprised with Hova's cold feet, especially since he is known for selling his image through his Jay-Z Blue licensing company. In related news, in a recent interview in Rolling Stone magazine Jigga revealed that he has not been able to get close with anyone since his father, Adnes Reeves, who abandoned him and his family two decades ago. "I became more guarded," Jay said. "I never wanted to be attached to something and get that taken away again. And it affects my relationships with women. 'Cause even when I was with women I wasn't really with them."
