The group 'Gorillaz' have released a statement on their site regarding the death of Proof:


"We are all deeply saddened and shaken to hear the devastating news regarding the death of Proof. Gorillaz had the great privilege of teaming up with D12 on the track

Thanx for posting Tom - that was a very eloquent and emotional statement. It's good to see other artists pay tribute to Proof - I just hope that someone told him some of all these nice things while he was still alive...

thats a really sweet statement it really shows how proof's death not only affected hiphop, but all typoes of music
