Snoop Dogg Banned From The UK

Postby SNaKe » May 17th, '06, 19:04

Snoop Dogg has been banned from entering the United Kingdom ever again.

According to the UK's Sunday People, the ban comes as a result of Snoop's criminal record in the US , which includes drug and gun offences.

"The Home Office is taking a tough line on him" a source told the British newspaper . "After the foreign criminals' deportation fiasco, the last thing the new Home Secretary needs is a criminal flying in and out at will."

As previously reported, Snoop (born Calvin Broadus) and five other people from his entourage were arrested on April 27 at Heathrow Airport after a physical altercation with police. The officers were called in after being alerted that the rapper and his associates were verbally abusing and hurling bottles at the British Airways staff, who denied them entry into the airline's business lounge. As a result of the fracas, seven officers suffered minor injuries, including a fractured hand.

All six men were then taken into custody and were released the day after without being charged with any offences but were told they had to return after further investigations had been carried out.

Snoop returned to a London Police station last week and accepted responsibility for using "threatening words or behavior" during the clash.

Authorities gave the rapper a caution and said they would record what happened but would not take any further action.

According to the People, Snoop stands to lose millions in performance fees and could have no chance of being re-admitted into the country.

Its not that surprising considering some British officials have started some new trend and are beginning to crack down on all that is wrong with this country :confusion: however it's kinda harsh on Snoop :tounge2: after all there is plenty of people on our own soil that need to be deported first :zipped:

Snoop's behavior probably was a little unncecessary, so banning him from the British airways only is fairly reasonable if he's causing havoc for the company and its other guests. At least he's not banned from the country.

^^^If he is banned from the airways theres not many other ways to enter the country anyway, so he may as well be banned
