The WWE has announced today that this coming March will see a return of "Saturday Night's Main Event" on NBC.
Fans will remember "Saturday Night's Main Event" as the premire show for the WWF back in the late 80's - early 90's. It was on SNME that the rift began between the Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage), SNME was the place where the British Bulldogs beat Iron Shiek & Nikolai Volkoff in a best two-of-three falls match for the World Tag Team Championship, and in the very last episode that they produced, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels defeated The British Bulldog to win his first Intercontinental Championship.
The show has been on hiatus for 13 years, but now it appears that the WWE is ready to relaunch it with the help of NBC. There is one big question that needs to be answered about SNME's return. Will it be a Raw show, a Smackdown show, or a co Raw & SD production? Only time will tell, and we will keep you updated on this story as more information is released!
