Murs Plots "Revenge" With 9th Wonder

Independent MC Murs is slated to release his second collaboration with Little Brother's 9th Wonder, Murray's Revenge and recently landed job as an A&R consultant for an alternative music label.

Murs and 9th teamed up to drop Murs 3:16-The 9th Edition back on Definitive Jux in 2004. The new album features guest appearances by Joe Scudda and LB's Big Pooh and will be released via the Record Collection, an imprint that traditionally doesn't release Hip-Hop albums.

The California lyricist also began working as an A&R consultant with the label recently. Aside from 3:16, Murs also released a collaboration with Atmosphere's Slug. The project included a tribute to actress Lisa Bonet ("The Cosby Show").

Murs' Murray's Revenge hits stores March 21.
