lmao they were saying that one was supposed to hit in 1998 then in 2003 - they lie.

Asteroid will most probably colide with the moon simply coz its been taking some impact for us for a long time.

If an asteroid really does hit us , then - ohh wel, i hope its not cyprus or russia it hits. :shifty:

I would be worried about any decent sized asteroid hitting us. I dont care about the initial damage it does, I would be more concerned about knocking us from where we are now. If we move any further away from the sun we will all freeze and if we move and closer we will all burn.

besides huge asteroids have a magnetic feild of their own, they are also less likely to get pulled to earth.

2008? shit, Aspy, you're not gonna to rule the world more than 2 years.. :shifty:

I don't believe it's gonna hit the Earth, cause.. I just don't. Maybe I'm naive or somethin, but back in 2000 it was supposed to be the end of the world, same with 2001 n 2005 n 2012.. If it really hit, then it gonna just finish everything..

chances are it will land in the sea, as our planet is 70% water.

That would be the worst possible outcome as it would create a very large tsunami, most probebly wiping out the whole of the human race. If you dont die from the impact, the effect it will have on the climate will definatly kill and survivors.

Will be way after out time, infact the sun will dissapear before this happens.

I think if we were ever going to get hit by an asteroid some crazy scientist would send a rocket up in an attempt to smash it into smaller parts. :confusion: Although I don't know just how much influence a rocket would have on an asteroid?
