A) No one except cops/military should have access to assault weapons.
B) The mental health system is completely fucked up. They need to keep guns away from the mentally ill, which they are absolutely NOT doing right now.

Also, fun fact, the US has the second highest murder rate on the planet, 15%. Second to Africa by like two percent...and #3 is the UK, with like 3%.

No, you read the facts wrong. THE AMERICA'S (North America + Central America + South America) has the second highest homicide rate of all the regions. Africa is first at 17% and Europe is third at 3.5%

But if we think it like this:
Why should USA have so lax gun laws when in the Europe (for example) they are lot stricter and it hasnt had any negative impact, only positive.
In fact i think that US of A should just staright up copy Europe becoz europeans have higher standard of living pretty much in every aspect.
Personally i think that if it comes to a choice between 100k people's enjoyable gun hobby or 100 people's lives i'd choose the latter one.
