i don't think so he was good in 8 mile but it was specially for him i don't think he fit that much in other roles!!

personally i think em would be great at acting parts not directly written for him (8mile), as he is so easy to love!

he playd a perfect role in the wash but i dont think he will ever play a role like that again :p
