I think Bad Guy is better than Renegade. You guys think Bad Guy is JUST that last verse. The last verse is the best and is one of his best verses ever! But you combine that with the story-telling of Bad Guys other verses (his descriptions are as good as the last Criminal Verse) you get a better song. Bad Guy > Renegade.

but bad guy's first three verses are nothing compared to renegade :confusion:

The exaggerated annoyance of that line should cease to exist as well

Not just that line, though. Almost half of the second verse is delivered absolutely horribly.

And to think, I used to think you was the shit, bitch
To think it was you at one time I worshipped, shit
Think you can hurt people and just keep getting away with it
Not this time, you better go and get the sewing kit, bitch
Finish this stitch so you can reap what you sew, nitwit
Thought some time would pass and I'd forget it? Forget it
You left our family in shambles
And you expect me to just get over him, pretend he never existed?

2 brilliant Eminem verses + 2 average Jay Z verses + production that I don't like.
Ehhh
Looking at it objectively, I can knida see your point, but I think Bad Guy is a better crafted song by far and the poll agrees with me sooo.o

You're my fav member, by far. I've been reading your posts and all you need is a little polish to be GOAT.
Also, what does "sonically" even mean?

By sonically, I'm referring to how a song sounds, in this case Bad Guy. I just was throwing out my opinion that Eminem has a ton of other songs that sound more pleasant to the ears than Bad Guy.

Production on Renegade is great.

And Thanks!

The whole exist-ed thing is way over hated. Sure, that flow and part that he does that isnt his best. But I sorta like it, and it shows Mathew's annoyance at Eminem. I think Bad Guys story-telling and amazing lyrics makes it a better song.

i think it's a great song largely because of the last verse and the hook, but i wish the first two verses were more ... interesting, i guess. they're not bad, but the delivery is nothing special and out of context it just sounds like more generic hoe-bashing.

Re-listen to the first verses with an open mind, note that you know the meaning of the song. But just try to let Em draw a picture in your mind. Listen to his descriptions. I think the first 2 verses are highly underrated. Just listen with an open mind and let him draw a picture in your mind. Picture in your mind what Em is describing. Its amazing. People say that the last Criminal verse is like the best description and paints the picture perfect. He does, but he ALSO does in Bad Guy.

i'm sorry, i'm just having a hard time picturing it.

What grade are you in? Are you graduated? Because you need to learn how to do this. Easiest thing in the world. ALl Eminem does is describe the scene and his (Matthew's) feelings in the first two verses. No offense (wait no YES OFFENSE!) but you are completely retarded.
