Eminem, Hittman - Frontpage Stardom

The above song is on the list and is nothing to do with Eminem, it was unofficially remixed. The Eminem verse is from one of the freestyles of either Freestyle Manual or Freestyle Show. :8)

Found a new one for the list:

1998 - Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show Freestyle (feat. Royce da 5'9)

Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3VwNnzo9SA
Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYqjJ3ypb2A&feature=related

Not the best quality but some effin great verses! :y: :D
"I Knew I Wanted To Be A Rapper When I Was 14"

"No One Looked Twice At Me When I First Signed To Dre"

"I Wasn't Thinking That The Peroxide Thing Was Going To Be My Look; I Was Just Being Stupid On Drugs"

Lost In London Mixtape - I heard about that mixtape, but I've never download it  I'll check this

Oh, about that so many style snippet, I really think it's 1988/9, just listen to his voice, it's really similar to his voice on Foolish Pride and it doesn't fit to his 92/3 shit, so I leave it under 1988/9.

And that's great idea about that freestyle list, I swear 4 days ago I was doin' list of his freestyle, but it's too hard to make it and I gave up. It would be great if you do that, coz freestyles is the weak part of my list

i have a kinda list to (i'm a collecter also) and yep the freestyles are the weak part of my list to .... it are so much freestyles and a lot of them the same under different names...

and you never downloaded the lost in london mixtape :o :o :o :shakehead: :shakehead: :shakehead:

yep but i would consider '3 verses' as a real song cause it was a free download as mp3 on www.eminem.com back in 1999 or 2000 or 2001(i remember that)

dumpin is 1997 not 1995

D12 (Eminem, Proof, Eye Kyu & B-flat) - Dumpin

No way was it was recorded in 1997, more like 1996! :o

His style is similiar to on the Underground EP by D12 (1996) (fast and high-pitched) but he changes it slightly on the Slim Shady EP (1997), compare any track on that album to Dumpin'.

Don't forget that a lot of the songs Eminem was on would get re-released a year later. :8)

A lot of Infinite was recorded in 1995 and released by Eminem himself. It got re-released a year later in 1996 by Web Entertainment. Same with the Underground EP by D12. That was recorded in 1996 and released on cassette, vinyl etc before being re-released in 1997.

Ah ok thanks!!

never knew that

back then I didn't know internet existed :sweating:

Haha, nah that aint good enough :D

Yeah them verses were from some freestyles that Eminem done prior to that, two of the verse were from his famous 1997 Wake Up Show Freestyle..."Only fair to warn...." & "Met a retarted kid named.."

He never actually reused the audio recording from the freestyles though, he did re-record the verses for the 'Three Verses' song. :D

And just a quick Em fact, he actually had his albums Infinite and Slim Shady EP released over the internet! Think SSEP sold more! So yeah, the internet was even around in 1996.

and yep the freestyles are the weak part of my list to .... it are so much freestyles and a lot of them the same under different names...

Do you have any pre-2000 organized by years? I have a few. Wake Up Shows, Stretch&Bobbito, DJ Snoyl, DJ Kool Kid...thats it really...I know theirs more but I either don't know the radio show it was from, don't have the full recordings or I don't know the year it was recorded  :D

mmmmm.... maby but you got "Difficult" & "Syllabels" under 2010 and there is no way they are recorded that year, maby dumpin is recorded 1995 or 1996 but its defenitly released in 1997

---another option is that it was recorded december 1996 .... year switch is always something difficult to place leaked songs

a while ago i started a topic to disscus the dates of recording of the leaked song but it didn't get much respond ... now it seems like a found a better topic to disscus it !!!!thanks

it's hard to classify some of the songs, some leaks are under 2010-11 though some of 'em are not from that years, but I prefer put older songs under year they were recorded not released, for example Foolish pride was released in 2002-3 right? it would be stupid if I put them under 2003 year

Its not my list dude, I wouldn't have them as 2010...more like 2007. I'm not the user who has opened this thread, I'm just helping. himshadow has started this list and is in charge of editing it. :)

Why December 1996? As I mentioned Infinite was late 1995 and mostly finished early 1996...so Dumpin' could have been any time from early-mid 96 to late 96. :D It's obvious it isn't 95 because D12 was formed in 96 :D ...Eminem done most D12 tracks in 96 and then left to focus on his solo career, he done some d12 tracks (or with D12 members) in 1997 like Desperados, Trife Thieves & Take The Whole World Wit Me...notice that these songs from 1997 are not like Dumpin' where he has a faster, high pithced, SHOUTING style...he changes gradually through 1997 to a slower (still fast :D ), slightly less high pitched (still high pitched at times :D ) and less shouting. You get my point...listen to the songs I have mentioned and you notice a sort of timeline with his style. :y:

a while ago i started a topic to disscus the dates of recording of the leaked song but it didn't get much respond ... now it seems like a found a better topic to disscus it !!!!thanks

Seems like me and you have the same interest in Eminems songs then :y: :D

What we need really is some solid proof for each early song and new leaks. If we can't get solid proof then its about putting the pieces of the puzzle togther like we are for Dumpin'.

Yeah you would have to have that under its recorded year also because it was never released by Eminem or any record company :D

Having his early songs down as recorded year make a lot of sense as we get to see his style change over the correct years. We also get to understand where Eminem was in his career when he recorded these songs. Having them like that gives us a great timeline to show us the proper journey he took to get to the Slim Shady LP. :y:

As I have already mentioned Infinite (album) was mostly recorded and released in 1995 by Eminem but you have it on your list as 1996 because that is its official release year by Web Entertainment. :8) But we could say that by the time this album got released (november 1996) Eminem had already changed his style to Slim Shady, we could really do with knowing what month in 1996 D12 formed :D

*I have a quick Eminem trivia fact I noticed and that you guys might find fairly interesting (those who have not already noticed it). Listen to Never 2 Far from the Infinite album. Eminem says "i got a baby on the way" and then Denaun ends the song saying "you only live once, ninety-six baby". Haile was born in 1995, this is just a small example that the songs were only slightly edited for its release in 1996.

I think your a king for making this list there was a couple of gems i never heard or forgot about.. Currently I go back to check it weekly.. I think the songs should be classified under his styles though.. he's been through different eras: Slim Shady, Personal Songs, Gangster/I'm on probation motherfucker! diss tracks, Party Tracks (Shake That Lean Back Remix Smack That Etc.), Babbeling on drugs/tracks (Big Weenie, Re-Up Touch It Remix) I'm Clean Now Etc. that would make it easier to choose the songs after the mood your in .. But one of Dre's Forces are mixing albums so they sound coherent.. but still IMO the songs should be "Categorized" in the different genres/moods i listed above..
