Well I don't hear many rappers rapping about the same stuff as Em did on Brainless. Bullying? probably, but I don't know very many rappers that rap about cutting people's faces up with hedge-trimmers, or that rap about how they don't have a brain but it makes them smarter at the same time. You really don't hear rappers making songs similar to either Brain Damage OR Brainless.Menzo wrote:ShadyOnFire wrote:bigray wrote:people still praise brainless, its just not a classic.
Okay, that's fine. I'm just wondering what's so generic about it? It's almost exactly like Brain Damage, memories of bullying, mixed with fictional dark details. Brain Damage wasn't generic, so...
Yeah, cuz "Brain Damage" is such a common type of rap song..

Yep. I think a classic is determined by yourself, and for the piblic to accept it they too must think its a classic.

no, I'm saying that I don't hear many rappers making songs similar to it, So I don't see what's so generic about it. I get it, it's not a classic, but that's not what i'm talking about right now.
My second time now telling you I didn't call it generic.
