Yes, Stan is pretty monotonous and boring. People love it because it's "emotional".

Headlights is also a very boring song.

Okay, that's fine. I'm just wondering what's so generic about it? It's almost exactly like Brain Damage, memories of bullying, mixed with fictional dark details. Brain Damage wasn't generic, so...

Yeah, cuz "Brain Damage" is such a common type of rap song..
Well I don't hear many rappers rapping about the same stuff as Em did on Brainless. Bullying? probably, but I don't know very many rappers that rap about cutting people's faces up with hedge-trimmers, or that rap about how they don't have a brain but it makes them smarter at the same time. You really don't hear rappers making songs similar to either Brain Damage OR Brainless.

Just saying
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again?
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line

Don't you understand? Not many rappers focus on bullying and cutting faces with hedge-trimmers! Classic!

Yep. I think a classic is determined by yourself, and for the piblic to accept it they too must think its a classic.

From MMLP2, only Bad Guy and Rap God are classics. For different reasons ofc. Then there's a bunch of amazing songs, but not classics at all.

My second time now telling you I didn't call it generic.

I NEVER SAID YOU DID. you think that by me saying that not many rappers make songs like Brainless, it should mean it's a classic. I said that I was not trying to use that as an excuse to call it classic, I said I'm using that as a reason to say that it's not generic, I'm not saying you called it generic.
