I have no doubt that he'll have a new album in two years, coz if he retired now,
he would leave hated.

I was told that on TRL when he was asked if he was retiring he said 'nah, it's like the final chapter of this part of Eminem, Until I know what my next move is gonna be. So I just decided to put out this album of basically the hits from my first 4 albums.'

To be honest I think it's the end of the road, he probably doesn't even really wanna admit it to himself. I think thought it'd be KINDA easy for him to still do the odd song because if he has a recording studio at his house, he could easily record and write a song and still have time for his family. I don't know, maybe that's a selfish idea, lol. :unsure:

Hey Asp, what do you mean he would leave hated - isn't that a pretty strong word to use? I mean, ppl may not be as thrilled about Encore as about the other albums, and Fack is pretty s..... not to mention that ppl in Europe aren't pleased about him cancelling the tour (but there was a good reason why he did it) but hated? Isn't it more, I don't know, disappointment?

well, that's a BIG disappointment, but yeah, hate is too strong word. ppl still have love for Em and they'll probably have even if he retired - i don't think there's another rapper in the world, recognised by almost everyone, loved by millions of groupies :happy:

(well, now they're pissed off, cause he's planning to remarry lol) etc.. so, whatever will happen, Em will be still loved..
