Straight from my lab (how did it leak?)

Umm i was just thinking the other day, wat is the story behind "Straight from my lab" , how did it leak, and what was it supposed to be for.

Can anyone inform me on this?

It's called Straight From The Lab and all I know is that Eminem never wanted it to leak because he wanted to put some of the songs on his new album (which was Eminem Show I think). Plus, the songs weren't finished when they leaked. Some of them did go on albums, like Come On In was on D12 World under the name 6 In The Morning. And The More You Put Me Through (renamed Love You More) and We As Americans ended up on Encore. Also, because the songs leaked, Em couldn't go on tour with D Twizzie cause he had to write up brand new songs. Anyway, Em wanted all seven on his album, especially the diss tracks.

^^^^ no the songs were meant for Encore
it came out approx. a half year after the eminem show

the half of the songs are disstracks (bully, doe ray me, monkey see monkey do)
all songs leaked in the same period so it was put together to this LP
I don't know if some fan gave it the name "straight from the lab" or eminem did.

LOL fry i know were they ended up, ithought maybe he was working to release them on Encore, and then they leaked and he had to replace the songs with
songs like "big meanie" (were he obviously doesnt put any efort in the song)

I wanted to dig a little deeper.
Do u know how they leaked?

Was it Encore? I know it's one of them. You're probably right though. I have no idea how they leaked. Someone probably got to them somehow.

I heard an interview were Em adresses piracy, but its uncertain if he is talking about that or just in general. :unsure:

maybe Green Lantern leaked them and put straight from the lab since dosnt he say that or something about labs in his songs?
and maybe thats the real reason he left shady records.

they were for encore (was when the whole source/eminem beef was on)
and first started with the first verse of bully and then pepole went nuts about it specially over the d12world board and then the lyrics for the second verse came out and then out of nowere 2 members of d12world was fucking around and put the "straigth from the lab" name on it and somone knew who leaked them and acording to what i read between that time it was nate, eminem's brother who leaked them as far as i know it was him i don't remember anything else

correct me if im wrong but thats what i know anyway i hope this help

EDIT: and by the way " love you more" never was called "The More You Put Me Through" as far as i remember has always been called "love you more"

i guess it could be something to do with green lantern though, he is the evil genious, and evil geniouses do work in labs. Or it could have jsut been some random guy got a hold of the shit and leaked it
