Trick/EM + 5 star generals

Postby Nick419 » Dec 30th, '05, 22:01

i heard that eminem is producing trick trick's album. Is that mean hes going to be signed to shady records?

Also i was looking at eminem.com and it said there was a song called "5 star general" which made him well known. So i downloaded it and its pretty cool but i dont see how it gave him a big buzz in the streets cause he does a short verse.but i was just woundering if u guys have heard it?

Em produced only two tracks on Tricks album, and those tracks only, by normal rules he should just get some share of profit for it, but because Em knows Trick, he produced them for free. It doesnt mean he'll be signed to shadyrecords, coz if hed get every person he produced for on shadyrecords it would be hella-big.

Now the song "5star general" was a well know underground song, and the artists featuring on it were the best of underground at the time, so that gave Em some exposure, note that at the time Em wasnt rated as high so thats mainly the reason he got a short verse.
