Audio, time is i guess, 45 sec. to 1 min. cuz of shitty comp. programming reasons mostly.
how bout it?

i can, but it'll sound like shit. also, i can now mix beats and stuff in there, but that wont sound good either, cuz its the dumb program u start with on the comp.

it's widely availible on free 30 day trial at least. that should be enough to record 8 bars with decent quality

also the things that effect quality of recording are:

the emcee
background noise
quality of mic
quality of other equipment eg. pc, pop filters etc

program doesn't really make a difference unless it's like some 1gb computer with no ram.

^Get MSN or AIM, or even better, Trillian.
MSN/AIM are most widely used by netcees, and MSN allows you to add YIM contacts as well as MSN ones, as well as providing the most functions of the 3. AIM uses the least space probably, but I don't really like it tbh.
Trillian lets you talk to anyone on any messenger through one program.
