Former Blackstreet member Chauncey Black has just been snatched up by Busta Rhymes for his Flipmode label via Interscope. Through the deal, Chauncey will release his solo debut, titled Church Boy, which he says is "hard, soulful street music."
The first single will be a Teddy Riley produced track called "Every Day Is Your Birthday," which Black describes it as "aggressive R&B."
Now that he's back within the Interscope umbrella, he's also been able to reunite with Dr. Dre for at least a couple beats, landed a 16 from The Game, got Ne-Yo to pen a couple songs, and has worked with Busta Rhymes, of course.
