Shady Records artist Ca$his caught up with Chronic Vacation to let us know that’s he’s changed the title of his new album from “Loose Cannon” to “The Art Of Dying”.
According to Ca$his, the inspiration for the title change came from observations in his personal life.
“My album was [called] ‘Loose Cannon,’ [but] I was living up to that album title a little bit more than I wanted to. I was getting myself into a lot of situations where it was nothing but a hindrance to my rap career. So I’m gonna put that out as my second album. I changed [my] whole [debut] album around and made it catered to what I’m feelin’ right now, which is ‘The Art Of Dying.’ ‘I watch my kids as they get older and I’m like, ‘Wow, I see my kids growing up, but they’re dying. That’s what’s going on.’ When you get older, every day and every second, it’s because you’re dying. You’re living to die. I figured, it’s an art. Music is an art, what I’m doing is an art. We’re all living and dying, so I called it ‘The Art Of Dying.’ It’s not a depressing album or anything like that, but it definitely deals with what’s going on. It takes you right where the EP [2007's 'The County Hound'] left off and takes you to a whole other level for sure.”
