vocoder's and talk boxes are very big, in real gangster music, not the mainstream shit you hear. Mainly in Chicano music you hear it, but you hear this all the time in LA, I like it alot of the time. Anyways as far as i can tell maybe they are trying to actually get in good with real gangsters.

The kind that "gang bangers" listen to in southern california. mexican rap. Stuff like down, mr, shadow, and before he got big mr capone-e. Infact mr capone-e was on 805 underworld which is located in the city i live in. But most listened to him before he did stuff with twista. Down was good before he released "Lean like a cholo". So horrible. But he put out a song with snoop dog, and his cd was banned in all stores around here because he shouted out to a gang that started here. But that goes into gang politics that wouldn't really matter to you. but most of these artists started out in or around oxnard. The punk scene is pretty big here too with nardcore, artists like ill repute, dr. know and Habeas Corpus, if any of you know anything about punk. but thats besides the point. Most gang bangers from colonia, and ms-13 listen to music thats kind of old school, the kind of stuff you hear from cameo. So when you listen to rappers who actually bang they tend to incorporate that sound into there music. You can hear the influence.

Check the backcover of the mixtape and u will see that this song isn't mentioned in it.Oe the backcover is fake(I can't wait for someone to say this because eminem is nowhere) or the song is just a promo
