The funny thing is that they actually have a vault lol. They share it as well.

It's most likely just a figure of speech actually. There are songs put on the side & kept from been released in pretty much every recording studio too... esp. if we talk about Hip-Hop artists who have recording studios on themselves.

On the topic of Em's vault, all songs are in the vault cause they weren't good enough for the respective projects. I think the gold is verses for his best songs that didn't make it. For example if he made too many verses for TWIA, S4TM, fack, criminal etc.

You're right, Detox wouldn't be anything special anyways if it would release now.
My hype went down many years ago, but i wouldn't mind some new Em verses tho.
But i don't give a fuck about this project anymore, Dre had a change to do and release it already but he fucked it up, sad but true.
